This story for Blanc magazine had the theme Artist. I believe a real artist shows you the world in a way only they can — it pulls you in and makes you feel something. My fashion story, "The Artist," plays with all of it, youth, trauma, the things life throws at you, politics, silence, prejudice, happiness, sadness. It's about an artist being born — and honestly, that can happen at any age. I'm drawn to that exact moment of creative awakening, whether it hits someone young or much later in life.
